Devlog 8: Production Sprint 2
In this production week we concentrated to finish up on getting all the major features in the game an tweaking it so it works properly and is fun to play. This build is already in a playable state and you can just grab a friend and test it for yourself.
The artists got animations for the monster and the spider running and revised the scene lighting and effects to get the right atmosphere and at the same time not hinder the player from focusing on the gameplay. Also we got some more of the environment texturing into the game.

As for programming, we changed a few things about how pickups work, namely now you need to hit interact repeatedly to mine things and search stashes, and you can only carry one of some types of resources. The whole inventory will be revamped further next week We also finally implemented the sleeping monster. The only thing missing in terms of core gameplay is the infinite enemy spawning. We made some more minor fixes and changes such as the end goal stashes being infinitely searchable (with cooldowns) but also having random chances to drop or not drop anything.
Concerning the Animations, The characters all have their respective animations ready to be played. Some of these will still have to be tweaked but overall work as planned.
