Devlog: 1.0 Release
Welcome to our very last devlog for our project "Against the Darkness". Our final version of the game is available to play for free here on itch. The last days of development we spent to fix all bugs that were still there and preparing for our pitch. The scene underwent a last lighting polish to boost mood but foremost readability. In the game it can become very hectic due to the fast paced gameplay and seeing what you have to do at any point is therefore the most important.
We also had someone else test our game and did a lot of playtesting ourselves and noticed that the game is quite difficult if you havnt played it before. So to adress that we did another round of balancing. There is now a 100% drop chance for the end goal resource and you only need 5 instead of the 10 before. On Squishys side now the fire gives you full protection and has with that a bigger motivation to keep it running.
