Devlog 1: Research
Hello, everyone!
Haven't touched Itch since I started uni, it's good to be back.
This is a project me and my classmates have started for our Game Projects course at university. We will post devlogs here every week so that anyone interested can follow the progress.
The game is a simple couch coop, where two players are separated from each other but must cooperate to survive the night and its dangers. We have a general concept about keeping a fire burning in a deserted island, but it's very early in development so it might change.
The build this week is just a bare bones base prototype that our team can build upon to make more prototypes and see what's fun and what's not. Currently all the base mechanics except combat are somewhat implemented, but we might expand by, for instance, adding more resource types or tasks to complete.
